Our Clos du Bois Buttery Chardonnay leads with notes of cinnamon-spiced baked pear and apple tart. Rich textures of coconut cream, brioche and toasted oak fill the palate, radiating sweet aromatics. The finish is creamy, with a touch of pineapple at the end.
Viticulture Notes
The 2023 growing season started with winter rain that increased soil moisture, which is beneficial to cluster weights. Harvest started later than previous vintages, yielding grapes with bright acidity and flavor concentration.

Winemaking Notes
The Chardonnay grapes for this wine were fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve natural acidity and fruit characteristics. To create a creamy mouthfeel, a portion of the wine was transferred to French and American oak for secondary malolactic fermentation and aging.
